Fatigue

Fatigue is a common symptom during the menopause years. As our hormones fluctuate and our cycles change, we begin to feel lethargic and as if we have lost any motivation!

This can have a profound affect on our physical and emotional wellbeing as well as our lifestyle. We may begin to question if we can do our jobs properly, leaves our memory feeling fuzzy and we begin to feel invisible and anxious too.

There are some lifestyle tips to support you.

Vitamin B12
Increase your intake of vitamin B12 to support your nervous system.
Hydrate! make sure you drink 6 - 8 glasses of water per day.
Reduce your caffeine and sugar intake
Look into HRT or Homeopathy
Protein
Increase the amount of protein in your diet to support your muscle mass and strength.
Movement
Bring more movement into your life. Start off slowly and increase gradually but be consistent.
Nasal breathing increases carbon dioxide in the blood which improves blood flow and delivery of oxygen to the organs and tissues.
Breathing through the mouth causes narrowing of airway space and reduces blood flow and oxygen delivery to the brain.
