World Reflexology Week 2023
It is World Reflexology Week from 18th - 22nd September.
To acknowledge this I thought it was time I re introduced myself!
I'm Jane Long. I live in Eastbourne on the South Coast with my teen kids and have been practising Reflexology for 20 years!
How did I get into Reflexology? I was looking for a new career path while I was living in London in the 1990's.
I came across a taster reflexology course. I was so fascinated by what I learned by giving treatments and how I felt receiving treatments that I went on to train at the London School of Reflexology to take the full diploma.
From then on I took additional training in Reflexology for fertility, pregnancy and women's health and full body massage and really enjoyed this area of work.
I then went onto study more work around energetic pathways and the connection of the breath between the mind and body.
So I became a practitioner of Reiki and Rahanni Healing, EFT, Mindfulness Coach, Core Transformation Therapy and Breath, Body Mind Fundamentals.
Finally, I became interested in how we express ourselves through the face. Releasing emotions through the face can have wonderful, therapeutic benefits as well as the positive effect it can have on your skin and facial definition.
I have added Facial Reflexology, Zone Face Lift, Facial Cupping and Gua Sha Master Practitioner to my repertoire.
These days I offer my reflexology and facials in a gorgeous treatment room in East Dean.
I love to run workshops online and off line to inspire midlife women realise, they are still valuable, beautiful and so much more by using the simplest of self care methods.
I am also an advisor for the Weleda skin care range.
My first love is always Reflexology. I have favourite reflex points!
They are the adrenal gland, the pituitary, solar plexus and diaphragm.
These are my favourite points as they are a great way to calm a client who is highly stressed.
Keep an eye on my social media to find out more about me!
